Much more durable feel and grip to these benches than original pads. Clients and members are loving the feel and grip!

Love Rogue products but not so much this one. It's almost "chipping" on the side with these weird holes getting slowly bigger. I only use this bench indoors so it's not weather/moisture related. The bench itself is great, just the foam is the issue.

Excellent upgrade, I like the firmness, texture & the very grippy surface for utilizing leg drive. As a heads up when you first get the pad the rubber will have an oily residue on it when it arrives and it will be slippery but after & thorough cleaning with dish soap and water it will have an excellent grippy surface.

I purchased this pad as a replacement to my AB-2.0 bench. I've been very happy with the bench and like everything about it, except for the original pad. It's very hard and very slippery, which for me at least, presents some challenges when doing movements in incline. Seeing this new "premium pad" would fit the older model bench, I figured it couldn't be worse than the pad I was currently using, so I purchased it. Prior to buying, I couldn't find much info on this pad. Not many, if any, reviews out there. So, I based my expectations on the little chatter I could find about it on message boards. The pad is nice and I'm happy to keep it, but it definitely fell short of expectations. My main gripe is the "textured" material that covers the top of the pad. It's not really textured. The implication of a "textured" surface, at least to me, is that it will be grippy. Which is what I am looking for. Well, you're not getting that with this pad. Yeah, the material has a bit of indentations in it to give the appearance of a textured surface, but it's really not any more grippy than a standard vinyl pad. So, if you're like me and you're wanting the same grip found on say a Thompson Fat/Comp Pad, this pad isn't anything like that. As far as hardness, I'll say so far this pad feels a tiny bit softer. You don't sink in, but it's a little less hard than the standard pad. If you're buying the 3.0 bench, this pad is worth the extra $10. That's a no-brainer. If you're buying this pad for your 2.0 and you expect a pad with some grip so you can really push into it with leg drive and have your body lock into place, you're NOT getting that. And for $200 after tax and shipping, you're probably better off just keeping the pad you've got or going with a company who will give you the grip you seek. Customers have complained endlessly about this. I don't understand why Rogue won't just take that Thompson material and put it on an adjustable bench? That's what we want!!!!!!!
