I have been using these for several yrs with good results. They are tight but that is the reason they work and they are comfortable.

This item works really well for deadlifting. The socks are very slippery and tight fitting. They're not too tight that they hurt though, they're just right.

I have owned two pairs of these socks for over a year now (one pair in red, size M; and the other in black, size L). I bought one pair of medium and one pair of large, just in case, as I am on the 'border' of the sizing chart. I'm 5'7" and weigh 205 and both sizes fit fantastic! The red ones, being the medium, of course, are a little bit tighter, however, the black ones, being a size large, still fit excellent without any excess fabric. My calves are a little bit larger than normal and they both fit really well! The compression makes my lower legs feel great on squat days! They wick sweat away very effectively, as well. The best way to put them on is to mimic how a woman would put on old fashioned nylons; otherwise, you'll be trying to turn them to straighten them out while they are on and that is quite the challenge. I also do not put them in the dryer (just hang dry) as an attempt to extend their life. I plan on ordering several more pairs of these as they are very well constructed and have never even come close to falling down my legs. These are expensive but totally worth the money!
