I didn’t want to use the long metal middle portions, but I still wanted to connect it to the wall. I made some ledger boards and extended them out to reach the adjacent wall. I think it turned out nice. Using the side ledger boards instead allowed me to place a large mirror and clock in the center instead. I also secured it to the floor with 1 concrete anchor on each leg for extra safety and security.

No one likes to bolt into the floor, this wall mount kit is a game changer. The RML rack for me was not considerable until I saw this kit, then it became the best solution for to secure the rack in my garage gym. I already have the RM foldable rack (with the stringers also) and I know that it had literally held my garage wall into place (see my other review). I can't tell you how pleased I am with this kit. Rogue, you are the best.

Before buying this I had my ML rack bolted to my platform. My house sits on a post-tension slab so unfortunately I'm not able to bolt my rack to the floor. Anyway, bolting the the rack to the platform worked well except every few months I'd have to move the rack around and bolt it back down, as slamming heavy weights around would cause the rack to come loose from the platform. Eventually, I started to run out of places to re-bolt the rack down to the platform. I had this item in my wishlist for well over a year before finally pulling the trigger. It was easy to install despite my walls not being level. I have to say it now that it's in my rack doesn't budge! This is just as good as bolting to the floor, if not better as you don't need to drill holes into your home's foundation! I'd say the only minor knock is that it forces me to put my rack a little closer to the wall, so as I'm setting up for my squat and getting in position my head is a little closer than I'm used to... Anyway, its just matter of getting used to that no big deal. I'm not one to take time to review things, but felt compelled to after finally purchasing and installing this mount. For $200 it was definitely the right move!

This is a great product. I can’t understand why its not offered for Monster rack.

I ordered this, along with a Monster RM-6 rack, knowing I could possibly have to modify it to work with my rack. I found that it works just fine with the smaller hardware through the 1" holes in the Monster rack with no modifications. Super stable without having to drill into my floor!
