I switched out a Rogue Monster rack which was about 7 years old. Still in fine shape, but I’d put it through a good long beating and this new RM43-6 looked like a worthwhile upgrade. It has totally exceeded my very high expectations. Incredible build quality and attention to detail- even for someone who is already quite used to Rogue products. The new reinforcements make a clear difference. There is no movement to this thing. And I mean, it’s a darn beauty, this thing. Assembly is totally reasonable- just take your time and have help on standby. The nameplate crossmember in particular is a bear. The finish is super cool. Beautiful and quite different from anything I’ve seen. It DOES seem to scuff pretty easily, which is surprising, but this won’t chip and anti-corrosion seemed to be the biggest priority here, which is most important to me. My one issue is that, as a 4x3 rack, almost none of the monster accessories I’ve purchased over the years are compatible. Presumably a temporary issue, but worth considering. That’s a lot of cool stuff to repurchase… Hopefully we see accessories soon. All that said if you’re in the market for a truly heavy duty rack that will withstand absolutely everything you throw at it, this is it.
