I bought the 150 lb. bag and filled it with a combo of sand and rubber mulch, bringing it close to 90 pounds of pure soul-crushing gravity. Super durable and easy to fill. Love it.

Awesome bag. Holds exactly 100 pounds of pea gravel. Love the red color too. The bag matches my red Rogue Rack. Solid addition to my basement gym. Considering purchasing the 150 bag as my next purchase. May load it with 120 pounds first the slowly add more weight to work up to 150 pounds.

I just got it in the mail 10/30/22. I filled it with 100 pounds of sand and I dropped it from chest high (4 feet 5 inches) and the seams look like they may unravel over time. I'd say that's the biggest con. I don't know if I just got one with a loose stitch but I do hope it holds up. It is my first sandbag purchase so I'm not 100% sure what to expect and what is normal. The color is vibrant and the pictures dont do it justice. Super easy to fill and no leaks (so far). I definitely see myself using it for carries and other shenanigans.

I own both the 100# sandbag in blue (Little Blue) and the 150# sandbag in red (Big Red). First off, I'll echo what others are saying, these are great and if you've never trained with a sandbag before, it is challenging and recommended! 100# of sand in a bag feels a lot heavier than a 100# barbell and that awkwardness translates into some good functional strength. These colored versions are great too, they're super cool-looking additions to any gym you can color-code them for the different weights if you plan to have more than one. These seem durable, I've had mine for about a month and they show no wear after multiple workouts with drops from shoulder height but only time will tell. Not having handles limits you slightly but overall these are a great additions to my gym and I incorporate them into my routine as much as possible (lift-holds, lift-walks, over-shoulders, timed holds, hold and squat, etc.) If you're trying to decide between 100# and 150#, my advice would be to go for the 100# to start...much more versatile, also 150# feels super heavy, I'm still working up to it and have to be very careful not to overdo it. 100#, on the other hand, is by no means "light" but certainly not too heavy which translates into being able to be incorporated into variety of exercises more easily. These don't arrive filled, which is clearly stated in the description, so don't knock Rogue for that. Also, they only weigh the stated weight with sand, not crumb rubber....again, read the description! A 30# bag of play sand from Home Depot is less than $5, so buy a few bags, let them dry out (spread out on a tarp), and then fill. I was able to get the full weighted amount in right off the bat, unlike others have said; you may just need to massage it a bit as it gets close to the top to make more room. Enjoy! BTW these also make great "islands" for my kids from the carpet lava in our basement/gym.

Real good material. Extremely heavy duty!! Feels good around my lower back!
