Well I received my ctm-1 functional tower about a month ago, but didn’t want to review until I worked out a few kinks and had an opportunity to use it a little. Suffice it to say I am 100% happy with the addition of the tower to my studio gym. First, I ordered with a 6-8 week lead time and sure enough got my shipment notification right at the 6 week mark. Shipping was uneventful, although bc it is shipped freight they will only deliver it to the sidewalk out front so I needed to be prepared to move it piece by piece indoors. This was all explained beforehand so I was ready for that. I hired assembly done and was very happy with the assembly- it took one guy about 3 1/2 hours to assemble and he did a great job. That being said I had a similar problem as others in that at a low weight the plate wouldn’t go all the way down- I contacted Rogue and they responded with a video explaining how to make a quick adjustment- I did, and it has been perfect ever since. The cables are smooth and quiet. I have since ordered several mag grips and am really loving the performance. I did not get the seat attachment and am not sure yet whether or not I’d want it. I put a bench right up to the tower for lat pulldowns etc and it works just fine without having to attach and move the optional seat. I 100% recommend this functional tower as it has added so many options to my training programs for my clients.

I recently purchased the Rogue CTM-1 cable tower as part of a major upgrade to my home gym. It replaced a plate-loaded cable tower. After using it for a few weeks, here are my impressions: * The packing was great. I ordered a few other Rogue items and they all showed up on two pallets. Everything was well packaged and arrived without damage. * The installation instructions were exceptional. The installation guide is 36 pages, with detailed diagrams and instructions, and walks you clearly through step by step. There are color-coded, numbered arrows to show you how to route the cables. All needed tools are included. There's even a YouTube video now that walks you through it. What a contrast with every other exercise machine I've purchased. * The cable tower is as heavy duty as they come, almost over-built. The design is very refined and thoughtful. Adjustment is precise and operation very smooth. Everything just works well. Compared to the plate-loaded tower, the pin selector is such a joy to use for quick adjustments or progressions. * For the number of movements you can do on the tower, it takes up very little floor space in my small garage gym. I got the free-standing version and it is very stable. I do have a few minor suggestions for improvements: * It would be nice if you could store the removable bench on one of the support legs. I'm fortunately in that I have space behind the tower to attach the bench to the rear upright when I'm not using it. Most people will have the tower up against a wall or in a corner and will have figure out a different way to store it. The tower does come with a Monster Strip if you want to store the bench on a wall. * The logical place to store cable attachments is on the side shrouds, but there isn't any integrated storage. I solved this by getting heavy duty magnetic hooks. * Each weight plate is 10lbs. Some cable towers/functional trainers come with a 5lb plate you can add to the stack so you can go up in 5lb increments, but this tower doesn't have that. I solved this by getting a 5lb weight stack pin extender that I can put into the stack when needed. It will also let me add additional weight plates if for some reason I max out the 250lbs stack. It was expensive, but I'm very happy with my choice of the Rogue CTM-1.

This is the best piece of equipment I’ve ever used. I’ve been to a lot of gyms over the years and this tower beats every lat pull down, seated row or cable machine I’ve ever used hands down. The machine is smooth and so quiet my wife asks if I’m actually hitting a workout. Hats off to Kahle K for helping me through a couple of issues. Kahle’s responsiveness was outstanding.

Let me first start off by saying that the other reviews complaining about the assembly aren't wrong but I think you need to focus on the end product. Set your expectations that the assembly process will be a full day of pain but then you'll have a lifetime of fantastic usage from an outstanding product. Just mentally toughen up and get past that first day. The end result is a cable tower that is better than any cable tower I have used in any mainstream commercial gym. The cable travel is SMOOTH. It is a joy to use. Make sure you get a few different cable attachments to add variety. The default ones are good but you'll want more and you might as well ship it all together to save on shipping. The build quality is impressive and I know this is something I will be passing down to my children, though they will never be able to move it from its current spot. If you have the money and the space, then this is an excellent investment into your future health and fitness. If you are buying this, you are probably an enthusiast anyway. Pro tip: Go to amazon and enter "magnetic hooks" and buy a few cheap ones to pin to the side of the tower to hold your attachments nearby.

Quite possibly the best Rogue equipment I’ve ever bought! I highly highly recommend! Shipping was a breeze and it came in very organized boxes. Instructions are easy to understand and can mostly be installed with one person. I bought the 100” and 300lbs options with the black lat bar, standard Rogue low row and D handle. All three are top notch and high quality! I then added the easy curl bar, the leather tricep extension, the ankle straps, and the pulley cable tricep attachment. I recommend all of those items! Extremely high quality! As for the CTM, it’s overbuilt to an amazing degree! The functionality of it is next level. I love the footprint as well. I’ve built a garage gym (mostly of Rogue equipment) in just one half of our two car garage. It fits perfectly and we still have plenty of room for everything else. I did have one issue once I completed the assembly. I messaged (online chat then through email follow-up) Rogue and they gave me the fix the next day. The weight stack was not sliding up and then back down on the guide rods smoothly. The fix was flipping a bolt and nut around that came incorrectly installed from the manufacturer. A super simple fix. See photos in case you have this issue. It stumped me tremendously but Rogue was quick to respond and troubleshoot my issue. Overall, I highly recommend this product! We have decided to go all in on our garage gym and I’m so thankful we did! This is the latest and probably last piece to really push our gym over the top. Thanks Rogue!

The machine itself is absolutely worth it—100%! It’s incredibly overbuilt, with ultra-smooth pulleys and rock-solid construction. There are a few minor drawbacks, but nothing that takes away from the overall quality. First, it would’ve been great if Rogue had included a built-in peg board or storage solution for attachments. That would make it easier to keep everything organized right on the machine. Second, I wish the base had a place to secure the seat attachment—without that, the seat just ends up sitting on the floor when not in use. These are small issues, though, which is why I still rated it five stars. If I could, I’d probably give it 4.5—but honestly, this thing is phenomenal. It’s an overbuilt, versatile beast of a machine that handles everything from bicep curls to belt squats effortlessly. The wait time was a bit long, and a few parts didn’t fit correctly at first (Rogue did resend replacements quickly), but in the end, it was completely worth the wait and the money. I did extensive research comparing all the major brands and their lat towers, and after much consideration, I chose Rogue—and I couldn’t be happier with that decision!

Unboxed and put it together only to have complications with install, missing 7 weight plates for the appropriate 250lbs and the base plate did not line up proper. Added photos

Only had it for a couple of weeks now, but this thing is amazing. Rock solid construction, smoothly moving cables and weight stack.
