Sure, you could grab a cheap loading pin from Amazon—but you'll probably end up giving it away on Facebook Marketplace like I did! This loading pin is built tough and high-quality, perfect for belt squats with my Spud Inc. pillow belt squat belt. Just be sure to have some large D-ring clips on hand since the steel eyelet is pretty thick.

As the title says, it does what a loading pin needs to do. Is sturdy, I’d have full confidence loading this thing down to the max with 45s if needed. My only 2 complaints are: 1) the end has so much “meat” on it, it’s hard to get smaller shackles/caribeners to fit it, and 2) I wish they came in varying lengths for different applications. For example: I was hoping to use this thing in combination with my neck head harness for neck work, but its length plus the chain length makes that impossible. A “shorty” version would be an instant buy.

The loading pin does exactly what it’s intended to do. I’m using it for a homemade plate late loaded cable system.

Well built like most things from rogue. You will need a fairly large carabiner though.

Not too wobbly not too tight on the plates. Great welds, as expected. I use a cheap sailing soft shackle (under $10) to attach the titan 3" handle.

It seems a lot of reviews hate the hole at the top of the pin. Check out my Carabiner — works perfectly. I love the powder coating as my previous pin had paint that flaked off. This is a particularly heavy pin and the shipping costs sucked. But it’s so much better than the cheap crap from Amazon.
