Rogue Wood Jerk Blocks

Fully CNC machined, Rogue’s Ohio-built Wood Jerk Blocks deliver a level of craftsmanship and stability simply not achievable with traditional DIY jerk boxes. Available in four different sizes—15”, 12”, 6”, and 2.25”— each Rogue Jerk Block features 1.5” double-wall construction and interior bracing, along with strategically aligned insets for ultra secure stacking.

Stackable jerk boxes, or jerk blocks, are most often utilized in weight training as a way for athletes to focus on improving their jerk without having to clean the weight to the rack position on each rep. With their combined durability and ease of use, however, Rogue’s various Jerk Block sets provide a wealth of other potential uses: block pulls, clean/snatch from blocks, partial deadlifts, floor presses, step ups, box jumps.

The 2.25" block must be used on the top of the stack when the sets are in use. This will ensure longevity and help prevent damage to the exterior layers of wood.

Stable but VERY loud
They are well built but they are SO much louder than any blocks I’ve used before. I’ve used them 5 times now. I have to look into adding rubber to the top piece so that I can use them while a class is going on because it’s actually disruptive. Dropping barbells hasn’t been disruptive at all, but this is too much and I’ve been asked to find a solution. I’ve also had problems with the wedges flaking and stripping off where they connect, leaving small pieces of wood around every time I stack or unstack them. I recommend a product that incorporates rubber padding to reduce noise.

Blocks
Great solid blocks. I’m very glad that I purchased the blocks instead of making my own.

Beefy!
These jerk blocks are big beefy boys. They are very solid and stable when stacked. The wood is CNC machined with rounded edges. I have a pair of 6" blocks that I use for floor presses, and stacked they work well for sandbag step-ups. So far they are holding up perfectly.

Outstanding quality - highly recommend
My Olympic lifts have gotten so much better after using these blocks. I had an issue with the quality of a couple of the boxes but Rogue promptly sent me replacements without asking to return the damaged ones. If you’re on the fence I’d say give it a go and he will not be disappointed!

Cheap quality
It's roughly made they use soft wood that dings and dents and marks up real easy and the part that I hate the most is that everything is stackable except for the top 2 in section they'll stack on top of other boxes but they won't stack on top of each other or other boxes on top of them for storage if they had moved those wedge pieces in 2 in like all the other boxes everything would have fit perfect I don't know why they do that it's not a problem to move it into inches that I could see and as for the marks and gouges I haven't even used it yet that's just from taking it out of the box and stacking it first item I've ever bought that I'm disappointed in especially since it would cost so much money
