AbMat Pivot Pad

Co-developed by Dr. Kelly Starrett, Kyle Divine, and the team at AbMat, the Pivot Pad effectively turns any squat rack into a variable-height hip thrust machine. A patent-pending keyhole design enables the Pivot Pad to snap directly onto a standard, racked Olympic barbell. Once attached, the pad then rotates with the user, creating an immersive experience – almost as if the pad isn’t there. 

Far more affordable, storable, and space-efficient than a commercial-grade hip thrusting machine, the AbMat Pivot Pad is constructed with a soft foam (cleanable) exterior and a rigid core, producing a firm but comfortable surface that also puts the user in a proper position based on their height. Simply sit on the ground with your upper back against the pad and begin the thrusting exercise.

While the Pivot Pad was designed to accommodate all types of hip thrusts including barbell, dumbbell, and banded hip thrusts, it is not limited to this single movement. The pad works great for other accessory work including single arm presses, glute marches, Copenhagen planks, rear-elevated push-ups, and more.
